2A ONLY: Today we crossed the bridge between Victorian literature and Modern literature by reading and discussing three poems. Please read the poems below and then answer the questions on the final slide of the attached notes, dedicating about a paragraph to each of the three questions.

"Invictus" - written during Victorian times
"The Hollow Men" - written shortly after World War I
"Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night" - written shortly after World War II

Note - "The Hollow Men" is a challenging poem. If you can read the version on page 1190 of the green textbook, you'll get many helpful footnotes and sidenotes that will make it much easier to understand.
