In class we worked on a notbook assignment, the Poem of Courage. This was due in class, plus extra credit was available for those who chose to add art to their poems.
Have a great weekend.
Your daily chapter work for chapters 18-22 was due today.
We didn't have a journal entry today. We did, however, take the quiz over chapters 18-22.
Today was another day to catch up on and turn in all missing work. In addition, you were assigned to do the following project for your TKAM notebooks:
Choose a song that you think has lyrics that apply to the message of the novel. You then need to copy those lyrics down and explain their relevance to the story. Your lyrics must be clean (you can censor them) but can be from any category of music you wish. NOTE: Your explanation must be line-by-line specific (that is, you need to offer some explanation/connection as to why EACH line of the song applies to TKAM), so you will only be required to copy/analyze one (or more) verse and the chorus. Thoroughness/completeness/effort = your grade!
Please be aware that at the VERY latest, Tuesday, April 16 is the last day to turn in late work. You can and should still turn in your work in your TKAM binders for a second grade, but if you want to get credit the first time around, it has to be turned in before I leave.
