Today we finished and typed our practice reports from Tuesday, and submitted them for vicious review!

Today we began an activity to review, refresh, and practice correct citation and Works Cited construction. Each student was assigned a general topic (e.g., dinosaurs, weather, Presidents) and then a subtopic within that topic (e.g., triceratops, hurricanes, Andrew Jackson). They were provided with children's books and website articles and asked to write a short, simple report about their subtopic, focusing on correct use of parenthetical citations and correct construction of a Works Cited.
