Welcome to my class website. This is an important resource for my students and their parents, and I hope you'll use it often.

Some of the things you'll find on my website include:

  • a calendar that shows what we've done and will be doing
  • daily "journal entries" for each class's entry tasks, assignments, etc.
  • documents and references, like my class expectations
  • links to the school, the district, and websites you might find helpful or interesting
  • the occasional fun surprise!

The most valuable part of this website, for most people, is the journal of daily tasks and activities. It comes in pretty useful when you've been absent - you can find out exactly what you missed, quickly and easily, from home or anywhere else. There are three easy ways to access that portion of this website.

  • The simplest to explain, but least convenient, is to simply visit this website frequently and click on the link (in the lefthand menu) for your class. You can bookmark that link for one-click surfing.
  • If you use a RSS feed aggregator, like Google Reader, you can read the daily activities there. Go to your class's page (again, in the menu to your left) and look in the top right corner for an orange square icon and the words "Feed Entries." Clicking on that will allow you to subscribe to that class's RSS feed.
  • If you have an email account, you can receive the daily agenda in your email inbox. (Note: this is an automated service and I won't have control over exactly when you'll receive it.) Just go to your class's page and look for the link in the righthand menu that says "Subscribe to [Class] by Email." Type in your email address and the text "captcha," then follow the instructions in the verification email they send you.
